Are you interested in trying keto? Or, have you been practicing keto but have fallen off the keto wagon? (We may be soul sisters.) Have you hit a plateau with your weight loss? Or, do you simply want to learn about the ketogenic lifestyle?
You’ve come to the right place!
Throughout the 10 weeks of the challenge, you will receive every bit of information that I have learned about keto while on my own journey. That’s a lot of information! I have 2 binders filled with information, tips & tricks, and different types of ‘keto-kick-start’ plans. I have 2 additional binders filled with delicious recipes. Even my non-keto family (including 2 picky teens) loves the recipes.
The beauty of this challenge is that you can start at any time! Or … you can join a challenge group that will start and end at a specific time. The great thing about the group option is that you will have the support of a group as you proceed through the 10 weeks.
First, you should download the weekly eating plan.
Each Sunday, you should read the posts for the upcoming week. For example, in week 1, you would read the information for week 2. In week 5, you would read the information for week 6.
Each week’s section/posts contains: relevant information for following the keto lifestyle, a to-do list, and information on the upcoming week. The information for each week isn’t deep and technical. But, it is relevant information that I feel is important. Things that I wish I had known when starting to follow the keto lifestyle.
Each week of the challenge also has a sister-post that lists some of my favorite keto recipes that you might want to try.
Every day of the 10 Week Keto Challenge, you will input relevant data (weight, calories consumed, macronutrients [the number of fat, protein, and carbohydrate grams that you ate that day], the amount of water that you drank, and the number of steps that you took) onto a master tracking sheet.
You’ll begin with one week of preparation. You’ll learn about the ‘basics’ of keto and have time to physically and mentally prepare for the 10 Week Keto Challenge.
At the end of the preparation week, you begin. Read the section for the upcoming week and familiarize yourself with the eating plan for that week. Weeks begin on Mondays. From Monday to Sunday, you will record your weight and calorie and macro intake on your tracking sheet. Every Sunday, you will add chest, waist, and hip measurements to your tracking sheet. This will allow you to evaluate your progress. That’s it. Follow the plan and you could lose anywhere from 5-25 pounds in the 10 Week Keto Challenge.
